the first time i saw this band, they opened for cute is what we aim for. little fifteen year old me sauntered alone to the front of an unamused crowd, and screamed every word to every song they played. before that moment i didn’t even realize that i knew all of their lyrics, and i mean it was verbatim. and i remember thinking to myself “holy shit, i must really love this band.”

that was five years ago tonight. many shows, memories, and heartaches later, and i still love this band. so. incredibly. much.
