people really need to get over this. chris brown beating rihanna has nothing to do with the grammy’s. the grammy’s has to do with music. apparently people thought he deserved to win an award for his music? okay. so that’s that. the world can’t be like omg you hurt a girl so you can never win an award for your music. the end.

i love you christina but i gotta retort this. people aren’t upset that he was rewarded for his music, they’re upset about how the people in charge of the grammy’s handled it. janet jackson hasn’t been allowed back for years because she accidently showed her breast. kanye hasn’t been back because of an incident that’s apologized several times over for. now they invite chris brown back just three years after committing a terrible fucking crime, with open arms and no mention of how he has changed or become a positive person.

people deserve a second chance, sure. but it was just fucked up to praise him like they did when they’ve scorned people for far worse.

well it would make more sense to not invite kanye west to an award show for interrupting an awardee in the middle of her speech than to not invite chris brown because he beat up his rihanna

yeahhhh i’m gonna have to go ahead and completely disagree with that. both of these events happened in the same year, both artists have apologized for it, and since interrupting taylor swift, kanye has been to several award shows without having any outbursts.

chris brown committed domestic abuse. this is far worse than what kanye west did. inviting chris brown while refusing to admit kanye west is basically saying “we forgive you for beating your girlfriend, but there’s no way we’re gonna let this guy in and ruin our precious show with his misbehavior.”
